About Global Village

Every year from October to April, millions flock to the ever-popular Global Village. Launched in 1997 with a series of retail kiosks, the open-air destination has grown in leaps and bounds over the years and now serves as a staple treat on Dubai’s winter calendar.

Whether you’re coming for the fun fair, the food, the nightly cultural entertainment or authentic shopping, Global Village has something for everyone. You’ll find more than 90 cultures showcasing their local products within 27 lavish pavilions and over 175 rides, games and attractions. 

How to get to Global Village

By Taxi

You can grab an RTA cab from almost anywhere in the city for a direct ride to Global Village. You can also hail an RTA taxi through calling +971 056 239 7438

By Car

If you're driving, head to exit 37, via Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Rd/E311 and Emirates Rd/E611. General parking at the site is available between Areas P1 - P12.

By Bus

RTA buses with a stop at Global Village include 102, 103, 104 and 106. Check the RTA website for detailed public transportation schedules and routes.

By Metro

There is no metro station close to Global Village. However, you can ride the metro till stations and complete the last leg of your journey on an RTA bus.

Covering over 17 million square feet, it will take a couple of hours to thoroughly enjoy a visit to Global Village. Those coming with family and friends for a relaxing outing of shopping, food and fun should plan for a minimum of three to four hours here, which should allow enough time to experience a few pavilions, fun fair rides and of course, various treats at food stalls.
Currently, there is no Dubai Metro station that goes to Global Village. A mega open-air destination with 30 cultural pavilions, carnival rides, food kiosks and more attractions, Global Village is located away from the city centre and provides ample access for parking and entertainment to thousands of visitors daily.
The entrance fee to Global Village starts at AED25 for weekday tickets purchased online, while rates for any day tickets are AED30. Entry is always free for children under three, senior citizens and people of determination.
